Hungry Birds – from Maths to Motion is a unique Vivid Sydney Ideas event supported by UTS FASS School of Education, High Possibility Classrooms.

Dr Jane Hunter met with UTS doctoral student and STEAMpop director, Melissa Silk, to discuss the importance of integrated STEAM workshops in community and cultural settings.

The content of Hungry Birds is aligned with methods utilised in Dr Hunter’s research into High Possibility Classrooms within Australia and internationally.

STEAMpop is collaborating with Corey Stewart of CJS Robotics, also mechatronics expert from UTS Faculty of Engineering and IT; and Sally Browner, and extraordinary tech edupreneur from Coder Academy in Ultimo. Together, we aim to bring the nest of hungry birds to life in this unique tech and making event.
